High-Efficiency Microporous Ceramic Plate Fine Bubble Diffuser from China Suppliers and Factory for Water Treatment
Product Details
This product utilizes an increased gas-liquid contact area to enhance the total amount of gas dissolved in the liquid. Gas passes through the extremely small pores of a nano-scale microporous ceramic aeration plate, dispersing into tiny mist-like microbubbles with diameters between 0.05 and 0.5 mm in the liquid. As the microbubbles rise, oxygen dissolves into the water, achieving efficient oxygenation. Dissolution efficiency is directly proportional to the gas release depth. This product's aeration plate has a pressure resistance of up to 700 kPa and can be used in liquids less than 60 meters deep. In areas without a power supply, it can be used directly with a high-pressure oxygen tank without requiring electricity.

Flexible Combination
Can be used individually or in combination.
High Energy Efficiency
Operates normally at a pressure of 150-200 KPA.
Debugging Procedures and Methods
1
After installing the nanoscale microporous ceramic aeration plate according to the typical installation diagram, ensure that the nanoscale microporous ceramic aeration plate is placed horizontally in the water. Re-check that all components are properly installed and undamaged.
2
Adjust the outlet pressure of the gas source (liquid oxygen cylinder) to 350 KPA. Set the outlet pressure regulating valve pressure to 150-200 KPA. (Adjust according to oxygen supply requirements)
3
Slowly open the flow meter valve. When a small amount of bubbles appear on the surface of the aeration ceramic, re-check all pipe joints for leaks. If there are no leaks, adjust the flow meter to the required flow rate.
Working Principle
This product utilizes an increased contact area between gas and liquid to enhance the total amount of gas dissolved in the liquid. The gas passes through the extremely small pores of a nano-scale microporous ceramic diffuser plate, dispersing into tiny mist-like microbubbles with diameters between 0.05 and 0.5 mm in the liquid. As the microbubbles rise, oxygen dissolves into the water, achieving efficient oxygenation. The dissolution efficiency is directly proportional to the gas release depth. This product's aeration plate has a pressure resistance of up to 700 KPA and can be used in liquids with a depth of less than 60 meters. It can be used directly with a high-pressure oxygen tank in areas without a power supply, requiring no electricity.
Routine Maintenance
Routine maintenance of the nano-scale microporous ceramic aeration plate involves regularly cleaning the surface of the ceramic plate. The specific cleaning methods are as follows:
1
Normal Cleaning: Manually use a hard nylon brush (metal brushes are not allowed) to remove clay or other dirt from the surface of the nano-scale microporous ceramic aeration plate. High-pressure water guns can also be used for rinsing. After the surface is cleaned, thoroughly dry the nano-scale microporous ceramic aeration plate before placing it in clean water. Use 1500-mesh or 2000-mesh ordinary sandpaper to polish the surface of the ceramic plate until the old surface layer is removed. Determine whether repeated cleaning is necessary based on the results, until a satisfactory result is achieved. Under normal circumstances, the above cleaning methods can solve most of the clogging problems of the nano-scale microporous ceramic aeration plate. If the cleaning effect is still unsatisfactory, consider acid cleaning.
2
Acid Cleaning: Before acid cleaning, perform normal cleaning. After normal cleaning, thoroughly dry the nano-scale microporous ceramic aeration plate. Pour 5-10% dilute hydrochloric acid into a container of appropriate size (the concentration of dilute hydrochloric acid should not exceed 10%). Immerse the nano-scale microporous ceramic aeration plate in the acid solution, ensuring that the liquid level is approximately 3mm above the surface of the ceramic plate. Soak for 12 hours. After soaking, rinse with clean water and then aerate in clean water for 15 minutes to completely blow out the acid solution from the nano-scale microporous ceramic aeration plate. Based on the cleaning results, determine whether to repeat the cleaning until a satisfactory result is achieved.
Application Fields & Advantages
Application Fields
- Aquaculture: Industrial recirculating aquaculture systems, industrial semi-recirculating aquaculture systems, flow-through aquaculture, pond aquaculture, cage aquaculture, hatchery, temporary holding tanks, aquarium and ornamental fish farming, increasing stocking density, reducing farming costs, and emergency backup during power outages.
- Live Fish Transportation: Increasing live fish transportation density, reducing mortality rates, and lowering transportation costs.
- Live Fish Processing: Carbon dioxide anesthesia, reducing stress response of live fish in holding tanks.
- Wastewater and Sewage Treatment: High-efficiency aeration, oxygen supplementation, and pH control using carbon dioxide.
Our Advantages
- High pressure resistance, good sealing performance, and not easy to clog.
- The ceramic surface is flatter, with higher strength, no long streaks, and no cracking.
- Compared with similar specifications in the industry, it is heavier and less likely to move in the water.
- The ceramic thickness is twice that of the same industry.
- The pore size is 0.8 micrometers, and the pores are uniform. Compared with the 1.0 or 1.2 micrometer pore size in the same industry, the bubbles are smaller, the oxygen dissolution efficiency is higher, thus saving oxygen and reducing costs.
- Higher safety: The ceramic sheet is made of alumina fired at a high temperature of 350℃. The product's safety and hygiene meet ROSH standards and will not react chemically with water. Compared with aeration plates made of alloys (fired with various metals), it is safer.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the oxygen dissolution efficiency of this ceramic aeration plate?
Under standard recommended flow conditions, the oxygen dissolution value (SOTE) reaches 35% at a water depth of 1 meter. Furthermore, the oxygen absorption rate increases by 5% to 8% for every additional 0.5 meters of water depth.
Can this aeration system operate without electricity?
Yes. In remote areas or locations without a power supply, the nanoscale microporous ceramic aeration plate can be connected directly to a high-pressure oxygen tank, running efficiently without requiring any electricity.
What is the maximum water depth and pressure limit the plate can handle?
The product has an ultimate pressure resistance of up to 700 kPa (0.7 MPa) and can be safely operated in water depths of up to 60 meters.
How often and how should I clean the ceramic aeration plate?
Routine cleaning involves brushing the surface with a hard nylon brush (never use metal brushes) or rinsing with a high-pressure water gun, followed by sanding with 1500-mesh or 2000-mesh sandpaper. For severe clogging, you can submerge the dried plate in a 5-10% dilute hydrochloric acid solution for 12 hours, rinse, and blow out the acid by aerating in clean water for 15 minutes.
What are the main application fields for this product?
It is primarily used in industrial recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS), live fish transportation, live fish processing (for carbon dioxide anesthesia), wastewater and sewage treatment, and microbial or microalgal cultivation.
Why is this ceramic aeration plate safer and more efficient than alloy diffusers?
The ceramic sheet is made of pure alumina fired at a high temperature of 350°C, complying with RoHS standards. It does not react chemically with water, making it safer than alloy diffusers. Additionally, its uniform 0.8-micrometer pores produce smaller bubbles, maximizing oxygen dissolution and reducing gas costs.
